POLYAC 12 - penetration

POLYAC 12 - penetration

Penetration on concrete surfaces (component A).

It serves as a penetration on concrete surfaces for POLYAC® systems. It shows excellent adhesion to concrete, high reactivity allows its use at temperatures below freezing. Fast-curing resins for penetration of concrete, bricks, stoves and other mineral floors. It can be used as a quick primer for polyurethane and epoxy floors and can be used as a concrete protection. Polymerized POLYAC® resins have high chemical resistance to alkali, petroleum derivatives, acids, salts and maintenance agents.

PROPERTIES

  • High reactivity
  • Applicable at low temperatures
  • Optimal viscosity
  • Optimized polymerization under unfavorable conditions
  • Apply with a roller or brush
  • Wide range of applications

USE

  • Preparation of the concrete substrate

Concrete must be at least 28 days old, without curing agents, dirt, grease and oil. Old concrete and mineral substrates must be prepared by blasting, sanding or pickling. The maximum moisture content must be less than 4% and the tensile strength of the substrate at least 1.2MPa. The optimal processing temperature is between +5 °C and +35 °C. It is not recommended to apply at temperatures below +5 °C.

  • Mixing

Mix thoroughly before using POLYAC 12. During storage, the wax can be separated. Dump a quantity of resin that can be processed within 15 minutes. Add 1 to 4% of the hardening powder. POLYAC hardener (B component) should be ordered separately. Stir until the powder dissolves completely.
